Basket of Life Farm

We are located on 30 acres in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

We run a small CSA and plan on being at the Peninsula Farmer's Market in 2008.  We see farming as a sustainable future for our family.  Providing high quality, naturally grown local produce is our goal.  We expect to continue to grow substantially over the coming years, so if you are unable to join this year, please contact us anyway, as we may have a spot to offer you in the future.

We use natural and sustainable growing techniques, preferring heirloom varieties, when appropriate.  Any chemicals we may use on our farm are certified organic or natural (for instance baking soda is effective mildew control but is not an organically certified agricultural chemical.)  We use integrated pest management and heavy rotation as our primary pest control methods.

We are picky about what we eat, and if we would not eat it we will not sell it to you.
